all to liz mcdonald. she's tanned and ready. good to see you, lizy. liz: good to see you, larry. congressman of over sight, good to see you. devon archer, hunter's close friend testifies to your committee. your reaction? this is underscoring gop accusations and must corrupt presidency in u.s. history that biden systematically lied to the american people covered up how he and his family profited off overseas deals and what did you make of hunter biden acruised of breaking foreign lobbying laws that devon archer testifies and hunter biden pit joe biden on speakerphone more than 20 times to "sell the biden family brand"? >> yeah, look, devon archer was hunter biden's partner and if anyone knows better than hunter biden and joe biden, devon archer would know and these claims are credible number one. they fit the same pattern of everything that the house oversight judiciary and ways and
5:02 pm
means committee with the irs have established and documented at this point. what we know is this, that the president said he had never discussed his business dealings with his son. we know that to be untrue based on the fact that 20 accounts linked to bidens were never disclosed and they received over $17 million for selling something. now, you can try and figure out what they were selling but $17 million from foreign entities and foreign individuals and we also know that joe biden, the brand so-to-speak was patched in to -- in 20 different occasions, think about that. on a speakerphone, joe biden has no idea who's on the other end of the speakerphone likely someone corrupt, certainly somebody from a foreign government and likely an adversary or someone at least not necessarily with the united states best interest first in their minds and so all these
5:03 pm
things point to a complete burn down of corruption. look, where there's smoke there's fire and in this case, president biden through testimony, through damming testimony and all the evidence has shown himself to be in just an inferno of corruption at the very highest levels. i mean bribery, bribery and these things are things of a foreign banana republic and not the united states of america. here we are. liz: the white house said this is a fact free goose chase, devon archer testified that then vice president biden "brought the most value to the brand". that's selling access, getting the big guy to pick up the phone. that's a deliverable. is that grounds for impeachment? >> that is grounds for impeachment and that's what we're talking about. selling access and influence

peddling and if that's -- again, they got paid $17 million at a minimum. that's what we know for sure. what did the customer get for paying $17 million? look, i'm not saying what the answer is, but you can try and figure out what it is. liz: devon archer dropped this bomb shell and testimony that burisma ceo and cfa that burisma had hired hunter biden to sit on its board. that the ceo and cfo of burisma pressured hunter and joe biden to shut down the jew cranen prosecutor -- ukrainian prosecutor investigating burisma for corruption and archer also testified that burisma would have gone under if not for "the biden family brand". adding hunter biden to the board and access to owe biden was the biden family brand. >> that's exactly right and we know the leader of burisma said that the biden's extorted him, and we also know that the

prosecutor and the -- this victor shokin at the time was not only investigating burisma but investigating hunter biden. we also know based on testimony that they found nothing corrupt about the prosecutor general, but that he was relieved from duty because of biden -- president biden and then vis president biden overtures that were then turned into a billion in loan guarantees. what does that sound like to you? liz: yeah, and then let me just look through it because we've got more information coming in. archer talking too about then vice president biden attending a business dinner in dc where hunter and associates at cafe milano met with the l widow of the russian oligarch and not on the biden sanctioned list. that hunter biden met with the ceo and cfo of burisma and

"called dc to discuss the iranian prosecutor investigating burisma". is that call supposedly to biden, joe biden? >> well, look. i don't have the phone records. i'm sure the fbi or cia can pull them up if they want to, but if that's the claim, again, that should be very concerning because what we're talking about is influence peddling where the family receives money for changing american policy, not for based on what's for good for america but what's based on what's good for the biden bang account or the biden crime cartel bank account. that's the highest level of corruption. we're talking about now the president of the united states. this is pushing china and ukraine. liz: the issue too is this is the exact same thing foreign lobbying violation that then joe biden accused general michael flynn of and paul manfort was

accused of it too and two irs whistle blowers testifying that devon archer and hunter biden set up together a shell company, rosemont seneca bull h hyde to take that in and started paying tax on that in 2014. can you wrap it ultimately up? where's the impeachable offense for sitting president of high crime and misdemeanor? >> the high crime and misdemeanor is influence peddling and bribery, and i would also say, look, this doesn't just involve the president right now. it also involves the irs and the department of justice and maybe the fbi through them for covering for the biden family whether it's failing to or choosing not to investigate and make sure they slow walk past the statute of limitations or literally calling the biden family and tipping them off before search warrants are executed. no one else gets this kind of treatment in america and as a

matter of fact general flynn narrowly avoided jail. paul manfort did not. liz: yeah, this is -- we're going to be staying on the story. congressman perry, thank you for joining us tonight. let's get reaction from former congressional member sam and also tom. thank you for joining us. tom, first to you, your reaction to today's events and house lawmakers talking about impeaching biden for systematically lying to the american people, covering up the biden family profiting from hunter biden, breaking foreign lobbying laws and what was your reaction to devon archer today, tom? >> i was absolutely shocked by what we heard today. so was maybe not surprised but nonetheless i was a little bit shocked. the fact that archer placed then vice president biden on more than 20 calls involving people from burisma and other foreign individuals at the request of his son, hunter biden. as you know, liz, president biden has been denying adamantly from day one he had any

involvement in his son's business dealings, and seems to me very difficult to reconcile that claim that he's repeated again and again with what we heard today where he was not only on these calls but more than two dozen of them sitting right there, and i know the democrats are spinning this he was there just to say hello but we were born yesterday. liz: tom, biden cemently denying any action of what his son hinter and car cheryl: congressman were doing. >> how involved were you in your son's chinese shakedown text message. were you sitting there? were you involved in >> no, i wasn't -- >> were you? >> no. >> i've never spoken to my son on his overseas business dealings. my son has not made money about

5:12 pm
it's just how he was formulating his intent. liz: what do you think, tom? >> look, if what we heard today was true, there's no question that president biden was not honest and forthright in his son's involvement. the witness testified today and convicted o f a crime and may be other witnesses that will support what he says or not. i take it with a grain of salt but at the same time it seeps to me that president biden needs to be more forthright on whether he participated in the calls and what did he say and what the heck was doing on the calls in the first place. liz: and how u.s. policy was changed. like tom said, sam, there was lots of everyday that joe biden knew what was going on and irs whistle blowers testified that hunter biden's what's app message claiming he was sitting next to joe biden threatening and demanding payment from chinese business partner and records show joe biden met with more than a dozen of hunter biden's business associate #-d at the white house more than 90
