tight to tiktok if we are unable to call out our own government or white house who was quite happy to censor americans. if they think they're protecting the american people by censoring a post from me saying i personally wouldn't get experiments vaccine i'm not sure if they know whether a protecting the american people means? >> carley: more speech is better than less. let everybody talk and then the truth can rise to the surface. you got about 20 seconds left. final thoughts here on this. >> i would say this it seems very one sided what the white house wanted to did he do you see and monkey with and have the social media companies do just that the social media companies were happy, to by the way. that's another part of this problem here. i would say to those on the other side would you be happy if donald trump wanted to censor your speech if he is reelected? once again, i think the answer is no. >> carley: thanks, tomi, have great day. "fox & friends" starts right n now.

[sneeze] >> lawrence: welcome 6:00 a.m. bless you. >> ainsley: i was trying to hold it in. >> brian: sorry about that. i will talk to her in the break. >> ainsley: i tried to hold it. >> brian: one sneeze before "fox & friends first." if lawrence is going to start, then i will sneeze. >> ainsley: i'm allergic to these guys. >> steve: mark can we just start over? can we roll the animation again? let's start over. ladies and gentlemen, take two. >> lawrence: okay #:00 a.m. on the east coast, tuesday, march the 19th. >> steve: we are starting over. >> lawrence: okay. all right. this is "fox & friends." let's just go. >> brian: what a terrible start, lawrence, going to rehearse this again. a high seas trump says paying $450 million is almost impossible. companies just don't do it as letitia james prepares to snatch up his real estate empire. i got news for you latisha then you got to take care of it. sean duffy has a lot to say
3:02 am
about that, and that's his picture. >> ainsley: plus, big names running to serve inside the trump white house. we are going to tell you who. >> steve: here is nothing to sneeze at, sibling rivalry. barack obama has held surprise meeting in london on downing street a riff rumor with joe biden. >> lawrence: "fox & friends" starts right now and remember, mornings are better with friends. >> steve: god bless you. [laughter] >> steve: all right. take a look at the map right there. it is a tuesday. and it is another primary election day in america. voters in a couple of big swing states like arizona, ohio, and florida are going to be voting today. >> ainsley: and we're also keeping an eye out on important down ballot races like ohio's republican senate primary. >> lawrence: three candidates are battling it out for the party nomination. they are hoping to flip one of the most vulnerable democrat seats held in the senate.
3:03 am
>> brian: polls will open in ohio in about a half hour. voters in florida and illinois begin casting their ballots about 7:00. the former president will be there, too. the polls in kansas and arizona open at 8:00 a.m. eastern time. guys just no drama. really no drama. >> steve: right. because, for instance, i was talking to a friend down in florida, because the primary side has already been established on the republican side, you've got on the presidential primary, you see chris christie. you see doug burgum, you see everyone running nikki haley and donald trump. >> ainsley: voter turnout not as good today since the nominees are determined. >> brian: you know what we should do as a country? same thing you do when you tape something like a big show or a sporting event, don't tell me how it ends. as a country, when you win, you should not tell the other states you don't have to go. we should have kept it quiet and have a better turnout. >> steve: this way some people in all those states can save the hour that they would have gone to vote. >> lawrence: that's true.
3:04 am
>> steve: unless you have a local issue which many do. >> lawrence: former president donald trump is having trouble securing $450 million bond follow the judgment in his new york civil fraud case. >> ainsley: i would have problem getting that kind of money, too. >> brian: i wouldn't. >> ainsley: his legal team calling it practical impossibility. >> brian: companies provide appeal bond said no. chance sell off some of his properties. >> steve: he just doesn't have enough cash the experts say. madeleine rivera joins you now with the deadline and the deadline is, what six days away, right? >> madeleine: march 25th there reveals the serious cash crunch former president trump is in as he deals with all the legal cases against him. they have asked about 30 insurance companies to back the bond. none of them willing to take the risk. according to trump is worth $2.6 billion but a lot of his wealth is tied up in real estate. golf clubs, resorts. lawyers say for a judgment this big, about $464 million, bonding
3:05 am
companies won't accept real estate as collateral. they want liquidity or cash. as you said, steve, experts say trump does not have in that amount. and if he can't come up with the money on march 25th, new york attorney general letitia james could start seizing and selling trump's assets. that is unless an appeals court grants his request to pause the judgment. a trump campaign spokesperson telling the "new york times" this is a motion to stay the unjust, unconstitutional, unamerican judgment from new york judge arthur engoron in a political witch-hunt brought by a corrupted attorney general. a bond of this size would be an abuse of the law, contradict bedrock principles of our republic and fundamentally undermine the rule of law in new york. some of trump's properties in new york include trump tower, trump park avenue, 40 wall street. his golf clubs in west chester and the hudson valley. james could potentially go after these properties. to do so, she would need to fill
3:06 am
out application in court. separately trump and his co-defendants in the georgia election interference case submitted a certificate of review after a judge ruled fulton county district attorney fani willis can stay on if special prosecutor nathan wade stepped down, which, of course, he did on friday. this certificate of review would allow them to appeal to the judge's order to a higher state court. guys, back to you. >> brian: going to be fascinating. thanks so much. fascinating to see how this is done because in high finance like this it's almost over all of our heads. this is what they say. they said ongoing diligent efforts bond judgment in the full amount is practically an impossibility. you need essentially $1 billion in cash to get $450 million bond. they went to 30 brokers overall. four separate brokers that usually do this much. they said it's not going to make sense. to me logically, this 500 page court filing by his lawyers say knock this down. i think a lot of experts think
3:07 am
it's going to be overturned anyway. knock it down to something more plausible and he cites different examples along the way where appeals court has stepped in and lessened the bond for different clients. >> steve: hope for a hail mary, certainly. tisha james could start selling stuff next monday. >> ainsley: that seems so wrong. >> steve: especially what if he wins on appeal oh, sorry, we sold off the tower. >> lawrence: acting be extremely giddy about it as well. she has this running thing on twitter. >> this is a campaign promise for her before she was even elected. she talked about going after donald trump and also taking his property. >> ainsley: because this is new york. everyone is praising her for this. because it's such a liberal city. >> brian: a lot of people aren't that make money. and a lot of rich, successful people that provide almost all the taxpayer base that allows the trains to run and the buffs to are leaving.
3:08 am
there is a big wake-up call look if i'm a republican or go on the wrong side of a mayor or governor, is this going to happen to me next? i would say this if your goal is to put up a substantial bond, how about $100 million bond and then hold on to -- you have these properties. they take these properties. they have no experience selling these properties. how are they going to go find a buyer. in the meantime if the 17th floor has a bursted pipe is letitia james going to go over there and fix it? if you have the trump tower, i mean, to me, it's all vindictive behavior. >> steve: let's see what happens. in the meantime, bloomberg has got a tantalizing bit of information. and, you know, the president, former president donald trump, in addition to his legal problems, is he thinking about, okay, now, if i win the presidency again, who would i put, you know, in various cabinet jobs? and who exactly would i consider for vice president? what's interesting is we have heard a whole bunch of names. but, according to bloomberg,
3:09 am
none of the names that have circulated as vice president are impressing him. and apparently the list of options is growing longer, not shorter. in fact a parentally he said -- he told vivek ramaswamy to his face you're not going to be my running mate. maybe you could be in the administration. maybe department of homeland security because you are a good speaker and you are the son of an immigrant. >> ainsley: he is an indian american or his parents were. and, yeah, he personally told vivek this. but vivek could get a cabinet position. >> steve: yep. >> ainsley: this article says others were impressed for him for -- others that he was impressed with are north dakota governor doug burgum who also ran for president. congresswoman elise stefanik. former trade representative robert lighthizer. >> steve: cabinet potential. >> brian: on the v.p. list, tulsi gabbard, byron donalds, kristi noem, greg abbott which is interesting and j.d. vance. >> ainsley: lindsey graham is on
3:10 am
the list and john thune. >> brian: i know lindsey graham and jim thune were heavy for tim scott. it knows the executive branch. knows foreign policy. knows the president. knows congress. >> steve: trump asked him to do it last time but he wanted to be speaker. >> lawrence: what i'm hearing from the trump camp, the main thing -- there's a split when it comes to some of the stuff that the president wants. there is the loyalty question and then there's the person that he feels like is going to garner more support within the party. >> steve: right. >> brian: deliberate state. >> lawrence: exactly. that's where the tim scott. he is known as the more even keeled person, even the president suggested that is he a better campaigner for him than he was a candidate himself. because he doesn't like talking about himself. another person as you noted, brian, is kristi noem. he has happy that she came out
3:11 am
early. remember, the former president faced a lot of governors. he complimented her for being one of the few governors that said listen, i just don't have a shot in winning, athens why i'm not going to run. >> ainsley: a.g. picks is he looking at senator mike lee and ted cruz. jason miller was asked about this who works for trump's campaign. he said it's too early to speculate on this. if you really want to know the truth, it has to come from the mouth of donald trump. >> steve: right. >> brian: last minute mike pence was not going to be the pick. stuck on a plane listen you want me to be the pick. elise stefanik somebody i thought would be strong. they said one of the weaknesses she has doesn't have a big donor base. can't deliver new york. tim scott, you don't need tim scott to deliver south carolina. also, i know for a fact that doug burgum is being heavily investigated. they have hit it off. they have this business thing together. they think they complement each other well. >> ainsley: he is also a billionaire. >> brian: they couldn't believe how the trump machine was
3:12 am
working. they had flown to a few events with him. and they say the way on the plane the way that everyone has their own position. hear a pin dropp. he loved the way trump organized everyone. >> lawrence: it's a different campaign from 2016 and 2020. >> brian: is he a self-made success. >> steve: some of the other names we have heard in the last couple of weeks. ron desantis had spoken to ron desantis on the phone they had a private conversation. ron desantis will not be trump's vice president because, apparently behind the scenes, according to this article, trump events about him a lot. stefanik, brian, as you mentioned, you know, she cannot deliver new york state, although that has been a dream for donald trump. also, arkansas governor sarah huckabee sanders apparently waited too long to endorse him. he didn't like that. and, according to this article, katie britt of alabama botched her chances with the response at the state of the union address. >> ainsley: she did a great job. i don't know if i believe this
3:13 am
article because says he is not impressed with the names on the list. how could you not be impressed and governor huckabee he loves her. this is just the article. well, yesterday, barack obama was seen coming out of the residence of the prime minister of the u.k. and this comes right after this weekend article on axios was released saying obama would be jealous. biden sometimes says when speaking about a perceived accomplishment, according to two biden aides familiar with such instances it, talks about in that article the rivalry between obama and president biden. >> steve: this is -- by the way, as we look at barack obama there, this is the first in person meeting he has had with the prime minister. just a courtesy visit, apparently mr. obama was in london doing some business and there you can see him leaving 10 downing street. a lot of this -- okay. so now all this information is out there and axios has got some great reporting on this. a lot of it is key to the fact that over the last week or so we
3:14 am
have gotten a look at the transcript of special counsel robert hur wants interview with joe biden. and it showed just exactly how hurt joe biden was when that man right there, barack obama, said, you know what, joe, i'm sorry, but i'm going to go with hillary clinton because i think she is going to do a better job. and joe biden himself said to robert hur, he thought that at that point he felt that he, joe biden, could win; however, barack obama felt that hillary clinton would be the next president. and, of course, that didn't work out for her. >> lawrence: seems like there also some execute any when it comes to the foreign policy of joe biden. they thought back in the day -- i think it was like 15 years ago, my first political campaign working on the obama campaign, and they picked joe biden because he was the chairman, long-time chairman of the foreign relations. well, when he got into office, as the vice president, under obama, it said that they did not like his foreign policy. and it's always been.
3:15 am
>> steve: joey's. >> lawrence: joe biden's foreign policy. and the obamas thought that he would suck as president. they didn't think. >> steve: that's quote. >> lawrence: organize and execute enough. now they feel he is more vengeful of proving obama wrong. we have seen, brian, where this has gotten the country. >> brian: talks to bill clinton more than barack obama. he has a lot of staff on there and hired him above his staff. and they say they are not loyal to joe biden. they are there doing their own thing and his staffers that have been with him for a while who are more loyal say have resentment toward the obama staff. one thing is right about the president, if you look at his garage, look at his attic, they say he is disorganized. no joke. , is he disorganized. people in life like me i forget stuff back and forth. i would need somebody -- i don't pretend as if i don't. this guy is not built to be president of the united states, although i am and will discuss that later. >> ainsley: did you clean up your office it. looks much better.
3:16 am
>> brian: feels bigger. >> steve: not quite 45 years old. >> brian: i have a birthday coming up though. i want to add one more thing that story that robert hur brought up that he brought up unsolicited has been out from day one. but the fact is beau just died and they said he was in actual mourning during that time. that's what made it easier for obama to make the pick. is he older, hillary clinton is ready. she stopped being secretary of state for two years just to get ready after one term just to get ready for this. and barack obama -- excuse me, joe biden had just lost his son. >> lawrence: the interesting thing, the way the article paints joe biden as a bitter man, i thought he was just partisan. >> brian: absolutely. weighs the way he comes off. >> lawrence: on day one, undoing some of the trump stuff it. looks like it's not even partisan. is he out to show people that despite the reports, despite what you may see that he is better. and the last thing i have got say, brian, to your point about the obama staff being in, he is
3:17 am
so bitter with obama but he hires all his people. it makes absolutely no sense. >> ainsley: we're wondering who one runs the country maybe it's obama's people. >> steve: maybe it's barack obama. to that point, lawrence, this is what it all comes down to, when we look at the joe biden campaign right now, and it's kind of a head scratcher, it's like why isn't he doing this or that or all this different stuff, it's like who is advising him to make these bad choices? is it somebody who is loyal to him or is it one of the obama people who is like, well, this is what barack obama would do and not taking into consideration the limitations that joe biden has now. >> ainsley: it might have been a loyalty thing to your point. i remember when they were picking hillary clinton, remember they had asked joe biden and he said i'm not -- i'm not ready, i'm in mourning for my son like you said? >> steve: right. >> ainsley: i wonder loyalty thing. hillary you run. next time put you up. realized he was older. >> brian: no one could believe he ran. >> steve: i also think that
3:18 am
barack obama was interested in a woman president following him. he was historic. the next one would be historic. >> ainsley: well, that didn't work out. >> lawrence: it's clear how the staff -- do you all remember that first event where obama makes his first appearance back to the white house and joe biden is just wondering around. and all the staff is swarming the former president and you wonder who is running the show here? you got the current president of the united states can't even figure out where is he going. and all the staff is surrounding barack obama. so i think that's where some of the bitterness is that he still is the de facto leader of the democratic party. >> brian: keep in mind he was in his first term as senator when he ran for president. >> lawrence: right. >> brian: this guy had been there for 50 years already. axios sayshe obama people thought biden would suck as president. i didn't think it was obama. we don't know if he does. we know he had that famous line don't under estimate president joe biden's to ability.
3:19 am
>> lawrence: f it up. >> steve: to your point when barack obama was running for president he had no foreperson experience. foreign policy experience. joe was jealous of him right fromhe get-go. i have been trying to get this job since '86 here this guy walks in and still continues to measure himself against the former president. >> ainsley: let's tell you about some more headlines starting with haiti. today the state department will meet with adoption agencies as americans try to get their adopted kids out of the country. and officials say nearly 1,000 americans have reached out for help escaping haiti as gangs battle for control of the caribbean nation. the crisis unfolding in haiti is being called one of the most dire humanitarian situations in the world. program today the house foreign affairs committee is holding a hearing on the biden administration's handling of the withdrawal from afghanistan. several former pentagon officials will testify, including former joint chiefs of
