10:30 pm
in the second mass shooting in our state and 24 hours, the latest happening here in the bay area. but let's hear from the woman that i met. she was parked in this parking lot when she saw the chaos. chaos erupt as well. but little did she know she was actually parked next to jack out for some time in his car. >> here she had to say. >> it is incredibly tragic to see this happening. more and more. it's incredibly hard to see it. this close to home. >> a a. >> it is. it is just it's just terrifying that this is happening at such a high rate and it doesn't take coming in to your own backyard for us to understand that this is something that needs to change. >> yeah, she was just speaking about gun violence there. we also heard her talking with those earlier just about how concerned she is for the families of the 7 victims. she is obviously concerned.
10:31 pm
>> citizen, she came here by yourself. should no reason to that. she wanted to come to that press conference to find out for herself what was going on and i know a lot of people in half moon bay, they want to know the latest. they want to know the motive. well, the sheriff's office telling us that we still don't know the motive, but they're still investigating. still very much active. and in the coming hours, we'll learn more about the victims will learn more about where the route with their investigation. can tell you they have told the suspect's suv from the substation parking lot. this is not a crime scene anymore. they only have this one yellow tape up, but people can drive in and out of this area now. so, you tonight and into the coming morning when people need to get through here for now, i'm sara stinson reporting live in half moon bay. back to you. sara, thank you for that report. and your reporting all evening long during a very tense and difficult situation. thank you. it's been a long night and the first shooting scene right off of highway 92 on sam

10:33 pm
killed here. there was a 5th victim that person was taken to stanford medical center. we don't know their condition at this time, but it does appear as of right now there is a survivor from this location here. there was a coroner's van here earlier. they have since left. we also had the fbi here. they arrived around 7, 30 came in, did some investigating. they were those traditional fbi agents. you see with the fbi on their jackets. they're only here for a few minutes. then they took off their peers. they spoke with some of the sheriff's deputies are working here to get an update on the investigation that they're still very actively involved in. again, things are kind of slowing down here. there's a lot less vehicles here than there was earlier this evening. at one point this evening, it was so full and there almost no one could drive around. they had to move some cars around to let some people leave. it is much less crowded. there does appear things may be winding up here

tonight. the temperatures again dropping off to the 40's in many spots. couple 30's begin to pop up in the north bay. so the cold in spots overnight tonight into the early morning, but not as cold as it's been. so probably some of low 30's republic talking about mid 30's, some of the colder spots like santa rosa about 36 furlough live more. maybe 39 into san jose. watch out for the big waves along the coastline. we've got to about 12 footers moving in along the beaches. and so, yeah, going to see some big waves moving in that direction. so watch out for that. in the meantime. but high pressure taking over head. you kind of get the sense of that northerly wind beginning to kick in as that ridge slides in overhead. and that going to stick around for tomorrow. and really, i think for the week ahead, as high pressure builds in overhead. lots of sunshine coming our way, but occasionally some breezy conditions, especially over the north bay hills. otherwise just clear skies all the way the coastline, high pressure taking care of us for tomorrow, strengthening as it moves overhead, bringing lots of sunshine in the bay area. dry conditions. we like to see that long-range things could
10:38 pm
begin to change, though, so that ridge of high pressure sticking around to the middle of week. then as we get into next weekend anwe get a cold front moving through on saturday, then a chance of showers coming in on sunday. but you pam. and then we're going to see some changes coming our way as we head toward the next couple days. so there we go around the bay area tomorrow. you're looking at 50's and 60's into san francisco 50's along the coastline and you've got some 60's. you make your way inside the bay. temperatures going to continue to stay mild little bit hazy inside the bay as well. number to about 62 degrees in mild in san jose about 59 in pleasanton. 61 degrees in hayward tomorrow. 61. it will make creek and you're looking at about the 61 degrees in antioch. 62 in napa that closer the coastline, those temperatures generally in the 50's. all right. now to the next 10 days of dry weather for the next 5. and then things change chance of showers coming on sunday and kind of funny. pam sneeze in the middle forecast. but you know what? i started to notice today for the first time starting to see some of that pollen showing up in the windows. of course, that's a
