john rawlins live at the norristown police station with more on what investigators are saying about this chaotic chain of events. john? >> this happened around 11:00 last night as the driver of the 18-wheeler was shot in the arm by police. he is identified as a 46-year-old man from north jersey. and we are told at this point he has had at least one prior run-in with the law. following a chase, armed officers had the big rig and its driver stopped near main street. >> the operator raised his hand as if he was going to surrender but puts his hand back on the steer wheel and drives the vehicle forward. at that point one. officers fires three shots. >> the shots strike the windshield. one hits the driver in the arm. the incident about a half mile away at swede and the truck driver backed into one parked car and neighbor, thomas, one who talked to the driver. >> told the guy get the

insurance, stop blocking traffic. >> and he crunched a second car, this black sedan. >> we told him to stop again and he floored it and popped the car in the air and busted out the back window. >> the window is gone? >> the whole back window. and he takes off. no stop sign or red lights, keeps going. >> they chased him down the street until he turned right on lafayette. facing a deadend he drove over and crushed this guard rail, finally stopping at main and marquette. and shaking her head, the sedan belonging and >> and that car and my daughter's car was hit and now this car. >> not a good place from cars. >> i am ready to move from here. it's the truth. >> and again, a driver in this incident, a 46-year-old man from

despite how it looks. all three passengers survived this plane crash near big bear lake, california. the plane went down before 2:00 yesterday afternoon into the rugged, heavily-wooded hillside. three people on board the plane were hoisted into a health and flown to nearby hospitals. first responders say it is nothing short of a miracle that all of them survived. it was a historic sight in the skies today. workers scaled the iconic arch since the first time it was constructed in 1965. going up the north side to take
