though. the core of the coldest air does stay to the north of us up into canada. we'll be cold in the 30s, but just to the north of us they'll have high temperatures in the 20s, jet stream taking the dip down to the south. that allows the cold air to come on in. briefly tuesday we get a little warm air coming up. so we go mild again with temperatures in the 50s. for us on tuesday, but look, cold air is recharging again into canada. cold front will sweep through the midwest and this will get here tuesday night into wednesday morning and we have at least a chance, something we have to talk about, maybe a little changeover to some wintery precipitation early wednesday morning. that's a long way away. we'll deal with that next week. let's get through this holiday weekend. 37 tomorrow, a mix of clouds and sun, breezy tomorrow. so layers is the way to go. the feels like temperature most of the day will be in the 20s. a few sunday flurries, 2036 degrees, again a mix of clouds

if you're off, enjoy the holiday weekend. all eyes on south carolina as the gop hopefuls gear up for the crucial january 21st primary. i spoke with fox news sunday host chris wallace about whether it may all be over after south carolina. >> well, it depends 2 wins and there are some poll -- who wins and there are some pops today that indicate some tightening, that romney is -- polls today that indicate some tightening, that romney is still in the lead but gingrich is tightening on him. i'm not sure if that's because of romney's business record at bain capital, but it appears to be tightening. south carolina politics is a full contact sport. trying to predict what's going to happen in eight days, a little premature, but if romney were to win, i don't see how anybody can stop him. >> some high profile people, rudy giuliani coming out against all the negative attacks, particularly mitt romney.

do you see a softening perhaps because now the party institutional stalwarts of the partying say listen, enough is enough? >> not necessarily. if you're newt gingrich, rick santorum or rick perry, what do you care what rudy giuliani says? let me tell you rudy giuliani wouldn't have stopped what he was doing because of some advice from newt gingrich. south carolina is really the last realistic spot these other candidates can try to slow romney's momentum towards the nomination. they'll pull out all the stops and if the polls indicate that romney is losing his lead and if they can connect it to bain capital, you ain't seen nothing yet. >> you're going to have rick santorum on sunday? >> we will. dead heat in iowa, not so well in new hampshire, but he's now got the time, money and organization and south carolina is a much more favorable environment with him with all the social conservatives there.
10:53 pm
then we'll have a debate between one of newt gingrich's top advisors who is helping run his super pac and the head of the club for growth and they'll debate this whole question of attacking mitt romney's business record, an odd choice for a party that has traditionally backed capitalism and free markets. >> fox news sunday airs at 9 a.m. this sunday on fox 5. thank you, chris. i think we all know a wedding is more than just the i do's. a bride wants to look her best and a local bridal shop says it has the answer next. at 11:00 d.c.'s food truck craze hitting a butch in the road, police now hitting them -- bump in the road, police now hitting them with ticket after ticket.
