to make sure the ebola virus does not spread. >> i have no doubt that we will control this case of ebola so that it does not spread widely in this country. now there's no word on the patient's identity but the cdc says the individual had recently traveled to west africa. ebola has spread across west africa and is being blamed for thousands of deaths. >> closer to home now, what happened in a delaware home right before a two year old boy was shot in the head. that is the question police are trying to answer tonight. >> that shooting happened this morning in claymont as the boy struggles to survive in the hospital neighbors are trying to come to terms with this tragedy. good evening, i'm dawn timmeney in for lucy noland. >> i'm iain page. let's get straight tout fox 29's dave schratwieser. he's live tonight with the latest. dave? >> reporter: iain, crime seen investigators just wrapped up their work a few minutes ago at the townhome complex where that

little boy was shot. he's in the ai dupont hospital tonight in critical condition with a head wound. tonight investigators are still trying to figure out the circumstances behind this shoo shooting. >> right out front when he comes out. >> reporter: bill jennings was stunned when he her his little next door neighborhood had accidentally been shot in the head tuesday morning. >> happy go lucky little kid. very bright. >> baby, beautiful. >> some neighbors were moved to tears when they heard the two year old boy living on cliff side court had been shot in the head and raced to the hospital. >> to think two year old. oh, god. i couldn't even imagine because i have a two yeared grandson. >> jennings says the little boy is always playing outside. he was stunned to hear this ne news. >> i feel very sorry for him. >> i hope the kid is all right, you know. that type of thing should not happen to a child. it's awful. >> reporter: investigators say it was just after 10:00 tuesday morning when they were called to the scene inside the valley run townhome complex in claymont.

>> the mother of the two year old was home alone. and she heard a sound heard a gunshot and found her son had been shot. report roar medic raced child to a med vac helicopter and flu him ae dupont children's hospital where he was listed in critical condition. >> i feel sorry for them because i just lost my son august the 30th. my oldest son so i feel sorry for them. this is even worse than that. >> police went door door locking for witnesses and they gathered evidence from the scene. they would not say if a weapon was recovered and if it was, just who it belonged to. >> how a two year old get a gun answer me that. >> reporter: that's the question everyone wants an answer to tonight. again, police have not said if they recovered a gun and if they did, who that gun belong toss. they are questioning family members and neighbors. again, if there's an update on this investigation, we'll bring the to you as soon as new details become available. iain. >> dave, thank you. just before 5:00 someone was shot at the montgomery county public safety training camp in

conshohocken. sky fox flying over the scene. the shooting victim was air li lived to hospital. initial reports suggest the shooting is accidental. there is no word yet on who shot, hooks was shot or their condition. >> police solve a bizarre crime in berks county after video catches two people walking off with an atm. police say the duo tried to use a trash can to cover up the machine. sabina kuriakose is live in reading with more on this one. sabina. >> reporter: guys, we're standing right outside this store where it happened. now, we're talking a full sized atm machine much this man the video is struggling to steal and he almost gets away with it. now watch. police say that's 43 year old john never says loading the atm into a blue recycle bin. it is still plugged in. he even trips over the cord at one point. now, it happened sunday just before 3:00 their in the morning police say never says broke a glass pain at furniture plus and stole the entire atm.

then authorities say he drag it down the street employees say his alleged accomplice was the look out. they actually got it all the way back to their apartment and again they almost got away with it but and a an alert officer going to another nearby radio call saw never says with the trash bin. he had another officer check out the scene and they realized what was going down. they later arrested never stress and schadler at the suspect's home. so guys back here live after all of that evident, they didn't just not -- they just didn't get away empty handed. now they're in lock up. dawn. >> all right, not too smart, thanks sabina. surveillance video painting a frantic picture after a shooting in west philadelphia. the video showing two victims running away and ducking for cover. this happened about 2:30 at 52nd and west minster streets. police say a 33 year old man was shot several times. a 32 year old was shot once in the leg. witnesses say it's turning into a really dangerous area. >> i had just gotten off the bus

but most of us enjoying a comfortable close to yeah the month of september. october starts tomorrow. but as we take a look at that front most of the activity right now toward the central part of the state around state college. we've been tracking lightning so imbedded with this we're looking at some pretty gusty showers and thunderstorms, but the sun it's going set at about 6:45 so that will help to really lessen our threat of seeing some widespread activity with that activity right now in the central part of the state. upper 70s right no. that's our high for today. and you can see the sun sets this evening at 6:45. if you're stepping outdoors, low 70s by 7:00. there could be isolated pop up west but coming up we'll have the timing of our best chance for rainfall this week as well as when to expect a fall like chill with the seven day. dawn and iain. >> scott, thank you. >> happening now, the search for a man wanted in an attempting luring in lehigh county. the incident happened on saturday and they've got parents holding their children a little

tighter tonight. the children say they were in devonshire park when the man approached. that's in salisbury township. our brad satin spoke to resident who says she does not believe this is the first incident. >> reporter: take look right now. eighths quiet place but we do hear this is a very busy place for kids over the weekend. there was that attempted luring on saturday. we're also now hearing it's not the first case of strange behavior in recent weeks. >> as a parent, i would be terrified to bring my child. report roar this mom's quiet lunch with her husband ruined after hearing news of a man who tried to lure two children here saturday at a time when the park is usually hopping. >> over the weekend pretty busy. a lot of ballgames going on. report roar police turned to facebook to alert neighbors that the middle-aged white man has stott been found it happened by a senior living complex and where schoolbu schoolbuses pass. the two children knew enough to runway tell their parents who then called police. any problems before? >> no. >> safe place? >> yeah. >> reporter: safe neighborhood but not without some concerns. a woman we just spoke to who

didn't want to be identified lives just yards from the park and she says she and her neighbors saw some suspicious activity a strange man just a few weeks ago. a man sitting in his car just looking it happened twice in two weeks. >> finally did he get out of the car and he was coming down towards this other house over here children were coming up the street. and i think the mother came out and then he turned around and went back and got in his car. >> she wished she were quicker to call police. >> do what you're prompted to do, and take action and let your neighbors know and call the police right away. >> reporter: based on the descriptions it doesn't sound like these cases are related. it is a good reminder, of course torque talk to your kids about keeping away from strangers. in salsbury township, brad satin fox 29 news. >> tonight comedian tracy morgan to wal*mart's claim and and his friends were part toll claim for the seventy three rest their injuries in that deadly crash on the new jersey turnpike. wal*mart responded, t tracy mr. began's lawsuit in federal court yesterday saying the

victims were not wearing seat belts when one of its tractor trailers plowed into their limo van back in june. one person was killed. morgan and two others suffered superiors. morgan said he just had to speak up and released a statement today saying in part "i can't believe wal*mart is blaming me for an accident that they caused. my friends and i were doing nothing wrong. i want to thank my fans for sticking with me during this difficult time. i love you all. i'm fighting hard every day to get back ". a report by federal transportation officials says that the truck driver was driving 65 miles an hour before hitting morgan's vehicle. >> philadelphia police released surveillance video of a burglary and they're hoping that leads to an arrest in this case. check it out. it happened back on july 31st at the a and a market on the 5400 block of warrington avenue in kingsessing. police say they think the suspect got in by forcing open a security door and investigators say the man did get away with cash. give police a call if you know who this guy is. >> pennsylvania has a new law designed to reduce deadly heroin

>> not knowing is what kills y you. that's what really hurts. he's a member of your familiarly. >> exactly. it's a son of mine. >> reporter: bear was last seen sunday around noon at chichester avenue and plum street. police say witnesses reported a man in an unusual orange colored pickup truck stopped and picked him up. facebook tips led police to the man who said he rescued the dog from traffic. released him several blocks away when the dog began growling. police say the man's story seemed to check out but christa martin' facebook page has exploded with dark theories about what's actually happened to bear. >> there's a claim out this dog might have been kidnapped for use as abate dog in fighting ring? >> there's lots stories similar to that on facebook we've been notified and people have been calling us and letting us know that. >> any idea whether there's any truth to any of this stuff? >> um, that i don't know. >> the martins spent this day combing the woods nearly church where the dog was reportedly released and they are blanketed the neighborhood with posters

had not caused any disruption. >> and back to roar fox 29 weather authority. wasn't a bad day out there but changes are on the way. all right. beautiful out there today, scott. >> not that bad. high temperatures in the upper 70s across the area. and right now, we are rain free as we look at ultimate doppler. you can see the pocono mountains quiet. lehigh valley looking good. delaware, south jersey no rainfall. but take look at the central part of the state we're looking at some pretty aggressive showers and even some thunderstorms bubbling up during the heat of the day. but the sun is going set in about 30 minutes. so a lot of the energy with this activity around state college will diamin before it make its way toward our area. but the far western suburbs as we move no lancaster, berks county, perhaps parts of the pocono mountains we could see a few hit and miss showers before all is said and done tonight. right now, temperatures in the low 70s. humidity at 59%. winds out of the east at about 14 miles an hour. the sun will set at 6:45. temperatures right now upper 60s

low and mid 70s still. reading checking in at 75. upper 60s in millville as well as wrightstown. over to the trenton area 66 right now in the pocono mountains. so right now it's partly sunny. dry and comfortable if you're stepping outdoors. maybe to grab a bite to eat. you don't need the umbrella but here's that line that we're watching toward the central part of the state. this is several hours away to even making its way toward the western suburbs. as we time it out here's 10:00 o'clock most of us still dry. we could see some of that activity if it holds together move into lancaster county, perhaps sections of northern delaware and then as we move toward tomorrow morning, not so much rain but we'll be watching out for the development of some patchy fog and during the day tomorrow, at any given time there could be a passing shower. it's not going to be a washout and as we move toward thursday, fairly dry and quiet conditions as we move toward friday, overnight and saturday that will be our next best chance for rainfall. so once again, the typing of our

best rainfall saturday morning with that front and then behind that front we're talking about a cool push of fall air. i think most of your plans on friday will be okay with that system. but behind that system, we're going to watch a dip in the jet stream. some of that cool air where you see the blue, where you see the green that energy that cool air is diving south from canada and that will mean high temperatures for the weekend stuck in the 60s. so a spotty shower chance west tonight. patchy fog. 56 degrees in the suburbs. low 60s in the city. and then moving ahead to tomorrow, we'll call it partly sunny. once again a to you passing showers. it's not going to be a wash out. some will see the rain. others won't. we're looking at temperatures right around 74 degrees for the high temperature tomorrow. 74 on thursday as well. and then as we move toward friday, increasing clouds throughout the day. afternoon plans look pretty good evening plans for frida friday t out town looking okay. that rain probably arrives after

midnight friday into saturday. lingering a bit. we'll keep some clouds but look at the high on saturday. 69 degrees. last saturday it was 86 for the high. and then sunday waking up to temperatures only in the 40s. that's for philadelphia, too. and then high temperatures only in the mid 60s. so tailgatin tailgating at the c football weather, jacket, sweaters for you, a parka. >> yeah. >> personal heater. >> exactly. >> hot hands. >> hang over the barbecue at the tailgate and you'll be fine. offensive line has been a problem but the right tackle lane haven't johnson back after a four game suspension. he was not permitted in the facility and obviously not permitted to practice with the team. the running game has been a real problem for the eagles. so will his return help? >> i hope so. um, me and todd, you know, got it going pretty good towards last year. we're moving the ball really well. trying to get shady back in the game and start tackling again. >> it will be awesome to have lane back. todd go back to his natural position and we still missing kelce and mathis. them other guys will step in and they'll do better this game because you got lane back and it make it solid. >> it had better help. now it's still amazes me the eagles did not score a point, not one on offense on sunday. also a big surprise to the eagles players who after sunday said they were embarrassed. good point. lesean mccoy was one of those players running for of 17 yards
