Archiving Pornography-Based Contents |
I am starting to plan to archive and preserve pornographic content on here, though are there any obligations to do so? What I will do, is to do all I can to discourage sensitive users from these contents by adding as much warnings as possible, if that's anything to go by.
If they aren't allowed on here whatsoever, what about doing a separate Internet Archive variant for this sort of stuff, both in terms of art and videos?

Re: Archiving Pornography-Based Contents |
Because the terms of service is a bit too complex, there is no clear answer. Care to elaborate?
If not, then what I will say, is to create a completely separate website variant to the Internet Archive that can be used to archive this sort of content, with the obvious exclusion being child pornography. Can this be taken on board?

Re: Achieving Pornography-Biased Contempt |
Jeff Kaplan's answer certainly was unnecessarily vague. What he meant to say was, 'I'd strongly suggest you email info@archive.org before uploading.'

Re: Achieving Pornography-Biased Contempt |
Long story short, even archive bodies are not beyond critique, since the Internet Archive's policies are quite too complex and hard to easily understand.
